Project Summary
In collaboration with N3 communication agency, we designed and installed a virtual test drive for the launch of the new Nissan Qashqai and XTrail. This took place inside of the International Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome.
Approach
The client wanted a technologically cutting edge and youthful experience associated with their new car models. We created a virtual reality adventure where a driver, without ever physically moving, could navigate through surreal and otherworldly landscapes projected 360’ through the windows and dashboard of the car. This environment resembled a video game because the driver could interact with the imagery to truly feel the dynamism and capabilities of the car. The imagery and sound centered around 3 different environments for each car model: A city of the past, of the present, and of the future.
